Aug 7, 2018 · I'm a UNLV CS alumnus and an Amazon SDE. Not a great reputation. IIRC, top companies do not recruit at UNLV, so not many UNLV developers make it to top companies. But the coursework is sound, and if you're intent on being a solid developer there's nothing holding you back. Many of your classmates will not be that ambitious.

May 19, 2023 · I don’t think you need to get copies of the syllabus because CSN is one of the feed schools to Unlv and they have all kinds of articulation agreements, so I’m pretty sure they know exactly what the classes that you took are, by just seeing its name. I’d be surprised if they need the syllabus.

May 30, 2023 · That scholarship was the lowest amount of the three merit-based ones on the rubric. It was for $1,800 a year, so $900 a semester. Honestly though, I don’t know if they do those ones specifically anymore. Someone who started at UNLV after I did would be a good reference for that. If you’re a potential valedictorian there is one for that.
