A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 3:22 a.m. EST in effect until Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST for Calhoun County.

Gusts of up to 70 mph are possible along the coast and valleys, and in the mountains, up to 100 mph, the National Weather Service said. Swaths of Los Angeles County, and most of Ventura County, are at the highest risk.

The particularly dangerous situation alert is relatively new to Southern California but has been issued before the recent wildfires that have caused devastation across LA County.

Storm Warning was issued for York and Adams County for Sunday by the National Weather Service in State College, with a snowstorm expected.
