Jey Uso has been sidelined after a brutal backstage attack by Drew McIntyre during WWE RAW on December 9, 2024. McIntyre admitted targeting both Jey and Sami Zayn, intensifying tensions in the Bloodline.

WWE RAW's latest episode saw Jey Uso mysteriously getting attacked backstage. This occurred shortly after the YEET Master was involved in a heated segment with CM Punk and Seth Rollins, where he, along with Sami Zayn, tried to separate the two stars.

Drew McIntyre returned on the December 2 episode of WWE RAW, and he explained his actions the following week. McIntyre had been absent since WWE Bad Blood, but he appeared at the end of the December 2 episode of WWE RAW and attacked Sami Zayn.

McIntyre went on to question events that occured at WWE Survivor Series: War Games, specifically breaking down Sami Zayn and Jey Uso's decision to reunite with Roman Reigns. McIntyre even credited Punk for taking a bribe to join the match.

Drew McIntyre returned at the end of Raw and attacked Sami Zayn. So there is a good chance "The Scottish Warrior" is also behind the backstage attack on Jey Uso.

A new match has been announced for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, as Sami Zayn will face Drew McIntyre. McIntyre returned on the December 2 episode of WWE RAW and attacked Zayn at the end of the show.

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn were on hand for the game, and they presented Arizona State with a custom Big 12 Championship. Cam Skattebo was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Game. He led Arizona State with 170 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
