There's always plenty of pomp and circumstance plus a fair deal of advertising during the NFL's Thanksgiving Day games. But CBS broadcaster Tony Romo's efforts to do a little singing during the broadcast is getting panned pretty hard.

Fawn over an NFL quarterback like Gollum and The Ring all day long, and sing. It’d been a while but Romo showcased those velvet pipes on Thursday during the Thanksgiving showdown between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.
